“Fail…” Sigh.

11 02 2010

I’m not sure when this verbal fad originated.  It’s become all too common to comment on a painful experience, awkward moment, unsuccessful attempt at something, etc as a “Fail.”

Example:   http://failblog.org/

I’m ready to be done with it.  It may have been cute for an afternoon or less, but now that my mom is using it, the term is old and I’ve grown weary.

Let’s return the word “Fail” to the original meaning and stop applying it to anything embarrassing.

Thanks everyone.
